The Bugatti EB 110

INTRO:

-HAPPY NEWSLETTER FRIDAY!🏎️

-WE’RE APPROACHING 2000 SUBS!🎉

- I’m grateful for where we are but there’s still so much more in store! I promise to keep adding and iterating until this newsletter gets better. soon i’ll be adding giveaways like E-gift card giveaways for 1 random person that completes the polls and much more (out of 2000 people less than 100 people complete the polls so you absolutely have a chance to win!)

-In the spirit of iterating and growing, I’ll be changing the template a bit more. originally the colors were supposed to be blue, yellow and black, then it changed to blue and salmon pink. visually I want to see what the most appealing colors are as this newsletter develops and we establish an identity as a community. Thanks for bearing with me! Enjoy your weekend!

CAR OF THE WEEK:

In the early 1990s, the automotive world was shaken by the arrival of the Bugatti EB 110. This was not just a car; it was the first supercar to bear the iconic Bugatti name in nearly 40 years, reviving the legendary brand with a vengeance. Unveiled in 1991 by Italian entrepreneur Romano Artioli, the EB 110 combined new technology, stunning design, and incredible performance. It was a car that whispered the promise of future legends. Quite simply, the EB 110 set a new standard, laying the foundation for the iconic hypercar’s that would follow.

At the heart of the EB 110 was a 3.5-liter, quad-turbo V12 engine that generated 560 horsepower, enabling it to go from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.2 seconds which was an astonishing feat for its time. With a top speed of 212 mph, it was one of the fastest cars on the planet, rivaling the likes of the Ferrari F40 and the McLaren F1. The EB 110’s all-wheel-drive system, lightweight carbon fiber body, and advanced aerodynamics made it remarkably stable at high speeds.

When compared to later Bugatti masterpieces like the Veyron and Chiron, the EB 110 was the foundation. While the Veyron set new benchmarks for power and speed with its 1,000+ horsepower, the EB 110 was the first to prove that Bugatti could still build supercars that pushed the envelope.

When it was released, the EB 110 had a price tag of around $400,000, which would translate to well over $700,000 today when adjusted for inflation. Today, this car has valuation’s often surpassing $1 million dollars. The low production number of 139 units makes it a true collector's treasure, highly prized for its rarity and innovation. The EB 110 is a reminder that groundbreaking innovation starts with audacity.
