He was supposed to be buying detergent. That’s what he told himself as he followed his girlfriend through the grocery store parking lot, the Canon EOS R7 swinging lightly at his side like always. Just in case. Then he saw it. A blue Maserati MC20, parked alone at the far edge of the lot, away from the clutter of everyday cars. The car sits, idling in the parking lot. It looks like it belongs in a showroom. Bathed in the soft orange wash of a flickering streetlamp, looking more like sculpture than machine. Every curve shimmered like it had been carved from motion itself.

He stopped walking. Without a word, he stepped off the path, raised the camera. One shot. Then another. No rush just quiet awe and a finger on the shutter. It didn’t matter that it was parked. The car had gravity. And he was exactly where he needed to be. It’s strange how ambition shows up. Sometimes, it comes as a spreadsheet, a sleepless night, a pitch meeting. Other times, it’s a $210,000 work of Italian engineering parked at the edge of a grocery store. That’s the Maserati MC20…… less a car, more a statement. It stops time, resets your priorities, and whispers: "You’re capable of more."

The Maserati MC20

Maserati’s MC20, short for Maserati Corse 2020 is a supercar built for the bold. With a 3.0L twin-turbo Nettuno V6 at its core, it delivers 621 horsepower, going from 0 to 60 mph in 2.9 seconds, topping out at over 202 mph. All of this sits within a 3,306-lb carbon fiber frame, forged not just for speed, but for purpose.

The Maserati MC20

Unveiled in 2020, the MC20 marked Maserati’s return to the pinnacle of automotive innovation. For nearly two decades, the brand had played it safe. Luxurious, yes, but rarely thrilling. The MC20 changed everything. Designed in Modena, Italy, and developed fully in-house, this car was Maserati’s attempt to reclaiming its racing heritage. Needless to say, that Maserati made its presence felt all over again. The launch price was around $210,000, but demand, rarity, and performance have pushed that number higher. Today, in 2025, market prices are regularly north of $260,000, with limited editions and early models commanding even more. There are 3 versions of the car:'

-MC20 Coupe – The original supercar: low, light, aggressive

-MC20 Cielo – Same beast, now with a retractable glass roof for open-air freedom

-MC20 Folgore – A fully electric version coming soon, blending silence with soul

Each variant is a refined expression of performance. Maserati didn’t just build one dream. They built a trilogy.

The Maserati MC20

The people who drive MC20s aren’t made of different stuff. They’re not born with superpowers or endless bank accounts. What they have, what you have……. is vision. Discipline. A willingness to risk comfort for something better. You might be buying detergent today, walking through a parking lot like anyone else. But if you look at a Maserati MC20 and feel something shift, if it freezes your breath and speeds your pulse, then you’re already on the path. These cars aren't built for average. And neither are you. Your life is short, and you have to go after what you want. Life is a game of positioning. No matter what circumstances you started with, your goal should always be to give yourself the best chance to win in the long term. Skill acquisition and lots of action is how you get ahead in the world we live in. If you’ve read this far, remember that I’m rooting for you!
